After completing her studies, Tamron Hall secured a job at KBTX-TV in Bryan, Texas. She was a general assignment reporter.

In 1994, the American journalist moved to KTVT in Fort Worth, Texas. She spent four years as a general assignment reporter.

After leaving NBC and MSNBC, the American journalist embarked on creating and producing a daytime talk show. In September 2018, the talk show was picked up by ABC Owned Television Stations

On 9 September 2019, The Tamron Hall Talk Show made its debut with Tamron as the host. In 2020, the show earned three Daytime Emmy nominations. In April 2024, the popular television show was renewed for the sixth season.
