Best practices when writing a resume
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke Emmanuel Makokha, a career coach, advised applicants to ensure they read the instructions provided carefully and tailor their resumes to reflect the required skills, roles and responsibilities.
"Unfortunately, many job seekers miss out on opportunities simply because they overlook or misinterpret these guidelines. Whether it's failing to attach the correct documents, not following format requirements, or missing deadlines, these seemingly small errors can disqualify even the most qualified candidates.

My advice is to thoroughly review the instructions multiple times and ensure every detail is addressed before submitting your application. A little extra care can make all the difference in securing that next role," said Makokha.
