What applicants should do after JSC cancelled advertised jobs
Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, career development expert Simon Ingari explained what applicants should do in case the recruiter cancels job positions they had applied for.
In the case of JSC, Ingari sympathised with the applicants, defining the move as a big blow for the candidates who were looking to kickstart their careers with the commission.
"Applicants should understand that such is the current state of the job industry. They should apply as many jobs as possible but remain strategic and focused. Casting your net wide will attract more chances for you and eventually get somewhere to start," Ingari encoraged.
The career expert urged the affected candidates to use their free time and focus on networking, learning a skill as well as volunteering.
"This will avoid creating a gap in their CV," he noted.
