The recruitment, which targets 32 positions across senior, middle, and junior levels, is expected to bolster the agency’s capacity in regulating and overseeing maritime affairs in Kenya.
According to the notice published on MyGov, the Authority is seeking to fill vacancies in both technical and administrative departments.

Interested applicants must submit their applications for the jobs listed above by Monday, June 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and can access more information about the jobs on the KMA career portal.
KMA noted that the applications for the jobs above should be addressed to the director general and that documents can be submitted physically to the Director General, Kenya Maritime Authority, at KMA Towers along Mbaraki Road, Mombasa.
Applicants can also send a PDF file of the application documents via email.

The Authority has cautioned applicants against canvassing, warning that any form of lobbying or failure to provide all required documents will lead to disqualification.
Additionally, shortlisted candidates will undergo rigorous vetting, including clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

In other news, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has opened applications for 27 supervisory positions across various departments.
The roles cover diverse areas such as big data operations, software and botware development, cloud architecture, security, and project portfolio management.
Interested applicants must apply online by June 16, 2025, through the KRA website and are required to submit valid clearance certificates from HELB, KRA, CRB, and DCI.
KRA reiterated that it does not charge any fees during the recruitment process and warned against canvassing or submitting forged documents, which will lead to disqualification.
