The Co-operative Bank of Kenya has announced an auction of 22 vehicles, offering Kenyans the chance to acquire used cars at competitive prices.

In a notice published in the Daily Nation on Wednesday, July 23, the financial institution asked interested bidders to pay a non-refundable bidding fee of KSh 3,000.

"Viewing of the motor vehicles will take place at the specified storage yards before placing a bid. For more information, call us on 0711 049 069," the bank stated.

What are the conditions for the sale of Co-op Bank vehicles?

  1. Vehicles are sold "as is, where is" basis.
  2. Offers received after the bid closing date specified in the advertisement will not be considered.
  3. Successful bidders will receive an offer letter after paying the non-refundable KSh 3,000 (bidding fee).
  4. Within 24 hours of receiving the offer letter, the successful bidder will have to pay the full amount of the bid "on a first-come, first-served basis" in instalments.
  5. Bidders must provide their email address for all correspondence.
  6. Before placing a bid, bidders must view the cars at the designated storage yards.
  7. The same vehicle cannot be available for multiple bids.
  8. Only online bidding will be accepted.
  9. More vehicles for sale are available on the online portal.
  10. Online bidding will be conducted on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
