How to bid for SBM Bank vehicles

The bank noted that the motor vehicles are sold on an 'as is where is' basis, inviting all interested bidders to submit their offers on or before Thursday, July 31, 2025.

The bank urged interested bidders to submit their bids in a sealed envelope marked 'Tender for motor vehicle.'

The bids are to be submitted via postal address or dropped off at the SBM Bank Kenya Riverside offices.

SBM unveils insurance

Meanwhile, the lender unveiled the SBM Bancassurance Intermediary, which aims to consolidate insurance solutions into a seamless banking experience.

SBM Bank CEO Bhartesh Shah said the lender's insurance product will simplify coverage processes, enhance affordability, bundle solutions and deliver prompt claims settlements.

Shah added that the bancassurance product allows customers to manage both banking and insurance needs in one location.

Which other Kenyan banks are selling vehicles?

Family Bank announced the auction of 27 motor vehicles in Nairobi and other towns, seeking buyers of car models including Toyota, Nissan, and Mercedes-Benz, with the cheapest model going for KSh 280,000.

NCBA Bank invited Kenyans to the sale of 39 vehicles in Nairobi, Mombasa and other towns in the country, offering car models, including Toyota and Mazda, with the cheapest price of KSh 370,000.

Stanbic Bank Kenya also invited bids for the sale of 22 vehicles in Nairobi, Kiambu, Meru, Mombasa and Kisumu, with the cheapest model selling at KSh 840,000.
