The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced 64 job vacancies as it seeks to strengthen its capacity in delivering on its mandate under the Social Health Insurance Act 2023.

According to the job advertisement, the vacancies span different departments and include directors, assistant directors and principal officers.
Applicants are required to meet several conditions in line with the Constitution of Kenya and Chapter Six requirements on leadership and integrity.

These include valid clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
Additionally, shortlisted candidates will be expected to provide a certificate of good conduct and other relevant testimonials.

How to apply for job vacancies at SHA
Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the SHA website or physically deliver them to the Board’s offices, addressed to the SHA board chairperson.
Applications must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 19th August 2025.

Are there job vacancies at the Ministry of Roads?
In other news, the Ministry of Roads and Transport, through the State Department for Roads, has announced 172 job vacancies.
The advertised positions include technical and support roles such as housekeeping assistants, drivers, plant operators, artisans, and security wardens.
According to the ministry, interested applicants are required to fill out the PSC2 (Revised 2016) application form, which can be downloaded from the Public Service Commission website.
Applications must be submitted on or before August 2, 2025.
