The department is targeting technical and support roles across various cadres in the government's efforts to enhance service delivery within the infrastructure sector.

According to a job advertisement published by the ministry, the openings range from housekeeping and security roles to skilled artisan positions.

How to apply for jobs at the Ministry of Roads

Each position has been assigned the job group CSG 15 and is open to qualified individuals who meet the specific criteria outlined by the Public Service Commission (PSC).

Applicants are required to fill out a PSC2 (Revised 2016) application form, which can be downloaded from the PSC website.

Applications must be submitted either by post to the Principal Secretary, State Department for Roads, P.O. Box 30260-00100 Nairobi, or hand-delivered to the State Department for Roads Human Resource Management Registry, located on the 5th floor of Transcom House, on or before August 2, 2025.

The ministry has encouraged all eligible Kenyans to apply.

In other news the Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced 64 job vacancies to enhance and strengthen its capacity to deliver services under the Social Health Insurance Act 2023.

According to the job advertisement, the vacancies cut across multiple departments, including positions for directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, and principal officers.

SHA noted that shortlisted candidates will also be required to present a certificate of good conduct and other relevant testimonials during the recruitment process.

Interested applicants can submit their applications online via the SHA website or deliver them physically to the SHA Board offices addressed to the board chairperson, with the deadline set for 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
