The two state agencies have announced several job vacancies across multiple departments as they seek to strengthen their operations.

The advertised opportunities include re-advertised positions for Director, Trade Facilitation (KTNA 2) and Internal Auditor – Information Systems (KTNA 7), each with one vacancy.

KenTrade stated that interested candidates can view the detailed job descriptions on the agency’s career portal and must submit their applications exclusively through the online recruitment portal by 5.00 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

KenTrade further cautioned applicants against fraudsters and noted that the agency does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.

"Any individuals or parties requesting such payments are imposters and should be reported to the relevant authorities," KenTrade stated.

Interested and qualified individuals are requested to download the full advertisement and make their applications by completing one BRS Form.

The application form and the detailed job requirements, duties, and responsibilities for the positions can be downloaded from the BRS website.

"The completed application form should be submitted via email to jobs@brs.go.ke not later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 8th September, 2025. The email subject line must clearly indicate the position reference number only," read the notice in part.

Job vacancies at NYS

In other news, the National Youth Service (NYS) has announced 181 job vacancies for technical instructors and lecturers.

Successful candidates will be employed on permanent and pensionable terms, complete with allowances and medical cover.

The recruitment includes 130 Technical Instructor III posts, 13 Lecturer II posts, and 38 Lecturer I posts across disciplines such as engineering, ICT, finance, business, agriculture, hospitality, and fashion design.
