Senate Invites Kenyans to Register for Business Opportunities as Goods, Services Providers
- The Senate has invited suppliers, contractors, and consultants to register for opportunities to provide goods, services, and consultancy
- Interested candidates can download registration documents for free from the Senate website and submit applications by September 3, 2025
- The suppliers register will be updated every six months in line with procurement laws

The Senate has announced the registration of suppliers, contractors, and consultants interested in providing goods, services, and consultancy to the Parliamentary Service Commission.

In a notice, the Clerk of the Senate/Secretary of the Parliamentary Service Commission, Jeremiah Nyegenye, invited eligible candidates to register for the available contracts.
How to register as a supplier
The notice explained that interested Kenyans can download the registration documents free of charge from the Senate website.

Completed documents, clearly marked with the relevant category number and description, must be submitted in sealed plain envelopes and deposited in the Tender Box at the 1st Floor of the Red Cross Building, Nairobi.
They should be addressed to: The Clerk of the Senate/Secretary, Parliamentary Service Commission, P.O. Box 41842-00100, Nairobi.
"Registration document that will have been received by 3rd September, 2025 at 11:00a.m. will be sorted as per the categories and a summary of the number of documents received in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend at 1st Floor, Red Cross Building, Nairobi.
However, the registration document shall be retained and remain accessible in the website up to 2027, for any other Supplier interested in applying. The Senate shall be evaluating such bids and update the Suppliers register after every six (6) months as required by law," read the notice in part.
The clerk emphasised that applicants must provide their e-GP registration number.

Which opportunities are available?
The registration is divided into two main categories: supply and delivery of goods, and provision of services and consultancy.
Reserved categories for youth, women, and persons with disabilities include the supply of office stationery, furniture, office equipment, cleaning materials, and branded promotional items.
Below is a list of the available opportunities and eligibility for suppliers:
- Supply and delivery of general office stationery and supplies - Youth, women & PWDs
- Supply and delivery of computer, printer and photocopier consumables, related accessories and supplies - Open to all
- Supply and delivery of computers, laptops, printers, tablets related ICT equipment and accessories - Open to all
- Design, supply and delivery of branded promotional materials, T- shirts, caps, carrier bags, umbrella, banners, gifts, branded services etc. - Youth, women & PWDs
- Supply and delivery of general office furniture and fittings - Youth, women & PWDs
- Supply and delivery of general office equipment - Youth, women & PWDs
- Supply, delivery and installation of computer software including software development, customization and support services - Open to all
- Supply and delivery of audio equipment, public address system and related equipment such as microphones, recorders, control unit etc. - Open to all
- Supply and fitting of motor vehicle spare tyres, tubes/ airbridge tyres, batteries, tyre repairs, wheel alignment and balancing - Open to all

Did KeNHA announce Nithi Bridge tender?
In other news, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has invited bids for the realignment of the accident-prone Nithi Bridge and the improvement of two other roads.
KeNHA stated that contractors are required to submit their applications by September 4, 2025.
The projects, funded through the Road Maintenance Levy Fund and Development Votes, include rehabilitation of the Thika-Magumu Road and upgrading of the Maralal-Sayuni-Sura Aduru Road.
