The board noted that the application should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the board secretary/CEO, Kwale County Public Service Board, P.O. Box 480403, Kwale.

"All applications should be submitted on or before Tuesday, August 26, 2025, by 4:30pm in a sealed envelope marked on the left side with the category (position)," it stated.

Which jobs did Kwale county declare open?

1. Artisan III (plumber/pipe fitter) - three posts

During their on-the-job training, an officer at this level will be given basic maintenance and repair tasks under the careful supervision of a more seasoned officer in their field of expertise (plumbing, pipe fitting).

Requirement:

  • Government trade test certificate grade III in the relevant trade area (plumbing or pipe fitting).

2. Inspector (water and sewerage)

Among the duties and responsibilities for the job are planning and overseeing the building of water supply and sewerage schemes, gathering operational and maintenance data, and managing water supply operators and artisans.

Requirements:

  • Three-year certificate in technical training from a recognised institution or;
  • A diploma in water supply technology or water.

3. Assistant engineer (water and sewerage)

The jobholder will carry out feasibility studies, planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructures.

Requirements:

  • Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya.
  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

4. Pharmacist

The officer will screen prescriptions for legal validity and offer appropriate doses to patients.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
  • The candidate must have completed a one-year internship.

5. Administrative assistant

He/she will ensure and coordinate the participation of the village unit in governance.

Requirements:

  • A certificate in public administration, business administration, business management or community development.
  • Certificate in computer applications.
