What should graduates do to succeed in interviews?
Simon Ingari, a career development consultant, suggested that graduates use professional, clear templates, quantify their accomplishments, and explain any gaps in their careers.
Before applying, he emphasised that graduates should carefully study the job description.
Additionally, he advised job seekers to submit tailored applications.
"Make sure you know what the organisation is looking for and adjust your resume accordingly as you prepare for an interview. Don't arrive unprepared. Practice your responses to questions such as "tell me about yourself," and make sure they are appropriate for the position you are looking for. Spend some time tailoring your cover letter and CV to each position. These simple steps will ensure you impress the interviewer," Ingari told TUKO.co.ke.
