QN: Tell us about your business?

Mohamed:

We are Dakawou Transporters Ltd, a transport and logistics company, and we take pride in our 35 years of dedicated service in the transport and logistics industry. It's been an incredible journey, and one of our most remarkable feats is delivering goods all the way from Mombasa, Kenya, to the bustling city of Lusaka, Zambia which is our longest distance! Our commitment to seamless deliveries knows no boundaries.

QN: Tell us about your experience using Shell products?

Mohamed:

At Dakawou Transporters Ltd., We use Shell Rimula Heavy Duty Diesel engine oil,. We started with Shell Rimula R4 X, because most of the older trucks required a mineral based engine oil, then we moved that journey to a fully synthetic oil because most of the trucks we have right now, are Euro 4 & Euro 5trucks that require a higher specs type of oil.

One of biggest benefit we have been able to achieve with Shell products is on cost per kilometer if you use Shell products wholesomely; that means getting the right engine oil which is Shell Rimula, and the right fuel – Shell Fuel Save. Before we were servicing our trucks at 15,000KM, today we are servicing with Shell rimula R6 LM at 30,000KM. So, I have saved a whole 15,000KM by using the right application, with the right oil.

QN: Apart from savings per Kilometer, what other benefits has your business benefited with Shell Rimula?

Mohamed:
