In evaluating the pupil’s character and conduct, the teacher noted that she was calm but had a lazy attitude.

Netizens react to teacher’s remarks
Fellow teachers and parents voiced their concerns, with some defending the remark as honest feedback and others condemning it as insensitive.
Tinabby:
"You all should know there's a difference between attitude and teachers' remarks. The teacher is trying to let the parent know that the child is lazy in class. Some are active and some are dull. If you're saying we should report the teacher to GES, then you should be the first, because you clearly need to understand better. With the 'keep it up' remark, the teacher is trying to say the child did her best. Remarks could be 'impressive performance' or 'developing'. Let’s understand before criticising. Teaching is not for the weak; remember they are the ones teaching our kids. We should appreciate them. Thanks."
Veronica:
"Attitude: Lazy. Teacher’s remarks: Keep it up. What kind of feedback is this? Hmmm."
Mrs Maudesta Agyapong Duodu:
"Why should a teacher write ‘lazy’ for a student? Out of 52 kids, she was 18th – and you still call her lazy? Then what would you call the rest?"
MaHawi:
"I hope the parent gave permission for this to be shared. If not, please look into it further before posting, especially as a teacher."
EfyaAdepaMens:
"I’m a teacher, and I don’t support any educator writing ‘lazy’ as a remark for a student. Every child has their strengths and weaknesses."
Sisca Bills:
"In some schools, when a number of students fail, the teacher is blamed. Imagine writing 'keep it up' should she keep being lazy?"
