Kilifi Becomes 5th Beneficiary of GOtv’s Signal Expansion Programme: "Quality and Affordable Entertainment"

GOtv continues to keep its promise of offering unmatched quality and affordable entertainment by making great entertainment more accessible.

The company has commissioned the fifth signal transmission site in Kilifi, targeting over 30,000 households in the county.

Kilifi governor Amason Kingi who officially commissioned the site, said:

The launch of the new GOtv site in Kilifi brings to 29 the total number of transmission stations offering a signal coverage of up to 80% across the country.

Areas to be served new transmission site in Kilifi

The new transmission site is located at Kutafiti within Kilifi town. It will serve the residents of Kilifi town (Pwani University, Takaungu, Kiwandani, Barane, Mikingirini Primary School, Mdzongoloni Primary School, Sokoke, Ezamoyo, Dzunguni, Tezo, Thuva, Ganze and Jaribuni.

Other areas are Galanema, Mkongoni, Chairman Primary School, Lutsangani Secondary School), Parts of Vipingo ridge (covered by Mazeras), Mkomani, Dindiri, Mitangoni Primary School, Marere College, Bahari Girls Secondary School, Basi & Maya Island Primary School and Masjid.

Nancy Matimu, the MultiChoice Kenya managing director, reiterated the commitment by the company to continue to make significant investments in the country.

GOtv's channels

GOtv offers local and international general entertainment channels on over 70 local and international channels on five packages – Supa (KSh 1,499pm), Max (KSh 1150pm), Plus (KSh 870pm), Value (KSh 550pm) and Lite (KSh 199pm), offering a different mix of channels on the various packages.

GOtv customers in Kilifi can get sales and aftersales support from our service partners, namely Alrazaq (Malindi), Milano (Malindi), Kilifi Satellite Mike Spares (Watamu), Fahad Electricals and Eity Consults.

Services on offer include decoder purchases, payment of subscriptions, package upgrades and downgrades, decoder diagnostics, customer care support, software upgrades, repair or replacement of faulty decoders, customer education on self-help service techniques, installation services and purchase of accessories, among others.

Local shows on GOtv include dramas and novellas on Maisha Magic Plus such as Our Perfect Wedding, Kina, Kovu, Selina, Pete, Hullabaloo Estate, The Turn-Up and Pambio Live. Other local entertainment channels on the GOtv are Maisha Magic Poa and the Mambo Moto channel, with shows from across the East African region.
