The governor kept her word when she announced that she would finance the construction of the family home weeks ago.
She presided over the initial stages when the construction workers dug the foundation of the house in a village in Kokwanyo, Kabondo Kasipul.
How many rooms will the house have?
The modern two-bedroom house is slowly taking shape, and the family will move in soon.
It’s a single-storey structure that is built using stone or concrete blocks.
The two-bedroom house has a strong foundation because the walls appear to be thick and sturdy.
The windows have black metal grills. In the video, the roofing is still in progress.
In photos that former chief justice David Maraga shared, a maroon roof was visible covering the house, which was still under construction.

The politician noted that the late was a hardworking man and if he were alive, he would have built a house for his parents.
Wanga estimated the house to be finished within a fortnight.
