"He has been my best friend and an amazing person in my life. He has been really encouraging me. He has made me courageous, at some point I was weak, but he would sit me down and told me I don’t need to be shy," she said.

Nevnina noted that her partner left at a time she never expected him to. They were a young couple and had plans to conquer the world.

She also revealed that their young son did not know that his father had passed away.

"'He left at a time I did not expect he would, but it was God’s time. It’s heavy on us, on me and on my son. He actually doesn’t know anything that is going on. I don’t even know what to say. I lack words," she said.

Ojwang's widow revealed that she was the last person her husband spoke to while in the Central Police Station.

What Albert Ojwang told his wife last

She shared his last words, in which he declared his love for her and promised that they would see each other soon.

The widow did not know that his 'see you soon' words would end up being his last.

She broke down, recalling seeing him in the morgue after their conversation.

"He was my everything. When we last talked, when he was in Central, I was the last person he talked to. His last words were, 'I love you, see you soon'. Seeing him soon here and in the mortuary, it really broke me. I want to stand strong for the sake of our son. Albert, I love you so much,” Nevnina added.
