Irene Nekesa Responds to Claims She Never Attended Diana Marua’s Event

Diana Marua's former househelp, Irene Nekesa, has responded over claims she never attended her ex-employer's event.

Did Irene attend the Bahati's event?
The former househelp claimed that she was at the event but her videographer failed her. She claimed that the videographer lost all her content.
She claimed that she was in charge of making sure that the guests had seats and were well catered for.
Irene shared:
"People keep asking me, Irene why did we not see you at the event? You guys keep saying that you saw me dress up and leave my house but you did not see me at the event. What does that concern you? It's not a must for me to post it.

I got out of here early at 1 pm before influencers got there, I was there welcoming Terence, Milly Chebby and Dem Wa FB. I was going to the kitchen section. Why are you giving me pressure? My videographer told me that my photos and videos got lost. I proved to you guys that I was getting out of my house."
Irene responded to fans questioning whether she attended the event asking them to stop peddling lies.
"Guys the pressure from social media. If you want pressure join social media," she added.
Irene had shared videos preparing for the Bahati's big day claiming that she had been invited last minute.

There were gaps in the former househelp's story. She claimed that a rider was sent to deliver the invite and he delayed.
Irene said that the delay did not bother her and she was happy that her former bosses remembered her.

The vent went viral with celebrities sharing what happened behind the scenes where they mingled and made merry.

In an exclusive with TUKO.co.ke, a close source who attended the event revealed that the celebrities did not know what the Bahatis were unveiling.
"Most celebrities thought it was a wedding. I knew it wasn't a wedding. I did not see Irene there maybe she was in the kitchen area as she says..., congratulations to the Bahatis," the source shared.

Irene asks fans to stop comparing her to Diana
In other news, the former househelp asked Kenyans to stop comparing her to her former employer Diana.
Kenyans had accused her of mimicking Diana's mannerisms.
Irene asked them to stop commenting on her pages negatively.
