What was Nyamu's Women’s Day message?
Nyamu shared a message a day after International Women’s Day, saying that she was resting on the initial day.
The mother of three lauded women for being resilient in their various fields.
She wrote:
"Yesterday was International Women’s Day and I spent the day sleeping because I needed to rest. I want to wish all of you women out there a happy belated International Women’s Day. I see how much love you give your families and the community, I see your strength when the odds are stacked against you, I see you fight hard to earn a living, and lately, Ive seen you choosing yourselves, getting up and choosing what's best for you."
She quoted Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, asking women to be bold when making their decisions.
Nyamu noted that well-behaved women do not make history.
"Congratulations on the strides we have made, we are not short of inspiration from women who have dominated in their fields. Never doubt yourself. And remember, Well behaved women don't make history -Laurel Thatcher Ulric."

How did Fred Machokaa respond?
Her quote irked radio presenter Fred Machokaa, who called out Nyamu via her comment section.
Machokaa noted that many well-behaved women have made history and she should stop looking for excuses for supporting bad behaviour.
He wrote:
"Many well-behaved women have made history and you know it, stop looking for excuses in support of bad behavior! If you want to behave badly, go right ahead, you don't need an excuse. Happy belated International Women's Day to you."
She responded by asking the radio presenter not to take the message literally, asking women to break societal rules that limit them.
"Hehehe if you take it literally yes. The quote isn't even mine originally but I hope girls understand it's about breaking societal rules that limit them."

Why did Fred Machokaa bash government after Mambo Mbotela's death?
The bold media personality is known for speaking his mind and doesn't sugar coat things. He calls a spade a spade.
Leonard Mambo Mbotela, known for his iconic Jee Huu ni Ungwana show, died on Friday, February 7, while receiving treatment at Nairobi West Hospital. he died aged 85.
Days after his death, his family announced he would be buried at the Lang'ata Cemetery, in Nairobi county. However, the decision didn't go well with a section of Kenyans.
Machokaa took to social media to blast the government, opining that heroes deserve better. The veteran journalist criticised the decision to bury Mbotela at the public cemetery, and proposed that the government should set up a Heroes Corner, where heroes are buried.
Many Kenyans on social media echoed Machokaa's sentiments, but Mbotela was finally laid to rest at the Lang'ata Cemetery on February 15. The veteran is survived by a widow, Alice Mwikali, and three children.
Are Nyamu and Samidoh co-parenting?
In other news, the senator hinted that she and her ex, Samidoh, have trouble co-parenting.
She said that at times, parents need time to heal before they can forge healthy co-parenting rules.
This was after fans questioned why Samidoh missed his daughter's party.
