Did Sonko's adopted son start school?

James's father died after being attacked by suspected robbers at night while taking him to school.

A video Sonko shared on Friday, April 4, showed him with James in his bedroom.

A piggy bank was placed on the table, and the young man shoved notes and coins into it.

The electronic piggy bank whirred as it sucked the notes inside.

"The money is finished," James said.

Sonko told him that he would get the change the next day when they went to the market.

"All the change is yours," he said.

The video cut and showed Sonko giving the boy Chinese Yuan to put into the piggy bank.

"All money that remains, put it in there. We will not open until you are older.

Sonko said he would start teaching James English and shared plans to take him to school.

"I will take you to a good school so you can learn with white children," James said.

At one point, James asked Sonko to open the piggy bank, but he refused.

"When this one is full, we will take it to the bank, and I will get you another one.
You need to start saving when you are young," Sonko said.

Kenyans were touched by the clip and reacted by saying:
