Esther Musila’s Daughter Shares Last WhatsApp Message with Late ‘Bonus Brother’: “You’re Like Me”

Gilda Naibei mourns 'brother' on Instagram

In touching messages on her Instagram Stories, the presenter at Seven Heaven Music shared images showing how close they were with the brother, Malakwen.

The first video was of her and the late walking on a rough road while posing for selfies, and the two were certainly having fun.

She captioned the video, noting the deceased was like her 'bonus brother, ' adding she hoped his death was just a bad dream.

"My bonus brother. Why? I have no words but please let this be a dream," she wrote.

She then shared a family photo of her, Musila, her brother and the late as they smiled beautifully while looking into the camera. She captioned it; "This hurts".

Gilda also shared a screengrab from their WhatsApp chats, showing the last message he texted her.

From the text, one can see that Malakwen was praising Gilda while noting that they are alike because of Lord's blessings.

"You are just like me in that we are blessed by the Lord. You ate soo blessed by the Lord. You ate soo beautiful Gilda, you don't even know. You are blessed sister and let nobody tel;l you different," Malakwen wrote.

Captioning the post, Gilda vowed to always remember him as her brother, adding she was happy to have reminded him how much she loves him every time.

"Your last message to me. You are forever my brother that I loved with all my heart and I'm glad I told you how much I loved you everytime we spoke. Fly with the angels we always talked about baby bro," she wrote.

Gilda shared a photo of her biological brother Glenn with Malakwen while in matching outfits and asked her fans to pray for the brother.

She said she could not imagine how Glenn was feeling after losing a best friend, adding that their friendship brought two families together.

"There are just some people you never imagine losing. Please pray for Glenn. I can't imagine losing a best friend that you've had since you were six and were as close as they were. Everyone knew that if you saw Mal, you saw Glenn. That friendship brought two families together forever just off the strength of their brotherhood. Mal was just that special to us," she wrote.

Gilda shared more photos of her family with Malakwen as she continued to mourn the young man.

Towards the end, Gilda also shared a message saying she was honoured to have known Malakwen but understood that it was time for him to rest despite wanting to enjoy life with him.
