This came after the students protested in the most civil way by refusing to perform after accusing the organisers of mismanaging their moment.
Njugush reacts with skit of students being 'arrested'
Reacting to the story in a video on his Instagram and X accounts, Njugush created a scene where the 'students' had been arrested as he, as an officer, came to check on them.
He hilariously renamed the school Terere Girls, which is a clever way of using other words to share his message, saying they are the students who think they know it all.
"Nyinyi ni hao mnajua sana, darasa moja A, Katika darasa la... Hiyo play yenu haina mahafi kuna makofi? Na uambie huyo simba marara (to mean the scriptwriter Cleophas Malala) wewe! Hakuna mahali mnapiga makofi?" he said.
Njugush asked his wife, Celestine Ndinda, who played a student, if they had no mention of the mtemi (ruler's) good deeds and sections where they clap for him, to show what the leader could have been happy with.
Njugush also inquired from the 'students' the main purpose of going to school, either to study or entertain, to portray the difficult situation that the girls had been put through.
The skit was perfectly executed by the use of irony, metaphors and satire to put the message across as the comedian did his bit on activism.
Kenyans reacted to the video, noting they were impressed by Njugush's fake police station and asked if it was at his home.
Others praised him for the use of comedy to protest against bad governance.
