Which car does Mariga drive?
A video shared by President William Ruto’s photographer going by @macoinsmashilingi showed Mariga driving a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT.
According to Motortrend, the SRT is a high-performance muscle car designed to deliver exhilarating speed, aggressive styling, and modern technology, making it a favourite among car enthusiasts.
Mariga’s model, likely the SRT Hellcat version, is one of the most powerful iterations, boasting a supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine capable of producing up to 707 horsepower.
This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 3 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 300 km/h.
The exterior features a bold, retro-inspired design with a wide stance, a functional hood scoop, and aerodynamic lines that enhance its performance and street presence.
Inside, the Challenger SRT offers a blend of luxury and sportiness, including premium leather seats, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Uconnect, and performance pages that provide real-time data such as G-force and lap times.
Mariga first flaunted this car while abroad in 2015, and it made its way to Kenya around 2021.
His brothers, including fellow footballer Victor Wanyama, have since been seen driving the vehicle. The base price of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in international markets started around $60,000 at launch, but costs in Kenya can exceed KSh 7 million due to import duties and taxes.
This vehicle stands out as one of the most powerful and expensive models in Mariga’s collection, showcasing both his love for performance vehicles and refined automotive taste.
Which cars do the Wanyamas own?
The Wanyama family is known for their impressive vehicle collection, which is estimated to be worth over KSh 70 million, excluding taxes.
Their fleet includes several Range Rovers, including red and matte grey Vellars, each valued at over KSh 7 million.
