Triza's friends, including Githaiga Wa Chai, accused another influencer, Wairimu Wa Muchiri, of leaking the audio.

She hopped on a TikTok live, garnering sympathy from her fans and calling out her supposed friend Wairimu.

Triza lamented the insults she had received from her fans ever since the audio leaked, since she had decided to trust someone.

"The names that I have been called I have never before been called that. I will not tell you anything. I will just leave you for God. Even if I might not be able to keep up with things on social media, I know there is somewhere when I call upon I get answered (probably in heaven). I know that before I have pleaded with God and He showed me something and even now I will plead to Him and He will show me what to do," she said.

Karangu's wife was emotional and burst into tears due to the alleged betrayal she had received.

She wiped away her tears while struggling to speak, noting that she wasn't going to take action against Wairimu.

"They say I'm seeking sympathy so I can trend. There is no problem. My trending has come to an end. I won't trend again. Those insults are enough. What I've been doing, I don't think there's anyone else who can do it, but I don't have a problem with that. I have left you to God, and you can continue spreading lies. Go say everything you want to. You are the one who heard everything I was talking about, even the things I said to my parents, because I had made you a close friend. I never thought that just after i came out of a situation where I was suffering you would throw we right back into another. There is no problem," she said, weeping.
