In one part of the compound, Salasya built structures to house his animals. The first part showed where he kept tens of birds, including chicken and guinea fowl.

"Here is where the chicks are," the farm manager showed Salasya.
The MP asked about the welfare of the birds and the whereabouts of the eggs.
Salasya then moved away from the chicken pen at the top of a two-story building to the cow pen on the ground via a winding staircase.
The shed had numerous metallic gates to prevent unwanted access.
Salasya’s cowshed was sturdily constructed using concrete, providing the strength needed to support the weight and movement of the animals. It featured an effective drainage system that helped prevent water buildup, reducing the risk of disease and discomfort.
The design also made it easy to clean, promoting hygiene and minimising the spread of infections. Strategically placed gaps in the wooden walls allowed for proper airflow, helping to disperse ammonia and other harmful gases that could affect the cows’ health.
The dairy farm has eight high-yielding cows, and the manager explained that around two cows were expectant.
“This one is Queen; she will deliver in June,” the farmhand said.
He spoke while touching the cow, which moved towards Salasya before nudging him. The MP ran away while laughing.
The manager said that the cow in question did not like visitors.
“It doesn’t know that I’m the owner," Salasya remarked.
Numerous Kenyans urged the MP to employ professionals to run the farm, as others laughed at the gaffe with the cow.
