Why did Milly Chebby undergo surgery?

Chebby is leaning on faith, family, and rest as she continues her recovery following a sudden medical emergency that left her hospitalised in Mombasa.

While on vacation with her husband and kids, the adored YouTuber known for her humour, candour, and close family ties with her husband was rushed to the hospital.

What was supposed to be a family vacation swiftly became a health crisis, which she described as both physically taxing and emotionally draining.

Chebby has been discharged from the hospital and has given her fans a look at her healing path.

On her Instagram stories, she prayed for healing, admitting that the surgery wounds were itchy and her stomach was swollen.

She wrote:

"Today my body is tired, stomach swollen, wounds itchy… I just want to rest. Praying for full recovery."

The exact cause of her surgery remains undisclosed, but she promised to release a video on YouTube to explain what happened to her.

Their friends have flooded social media posts with recovery messages; some even flew to Mombasa to be with her.

After his wife was hospitalised, the comedian shared a cryptic message to his friends.

"True friends know that we are all busy, but if something matters, you will create time for it. True friends will know when to call you even before you ask. True friends will know if you're okay or not, even without telling them. True friends will assist you with overwhelming bills, not only paying your club bills. True friends will know when you need prayers more than money and vice versa. Learn to learn people."
