"Please let him rest now... Ata kama alioa nani? Ama nani... Lady Gaga ama Lady whoever... It is well," Carolyne said, addressing the persistent scrutiny that has followed her and her late husband’s controversial marriage.

John, famed for his hit song Njata Yakwa, passed away following a tragic road accident along the Thika Super Highway. Before his death, the musician had made headlines when he took on a second wife, Carolyne, while still married to Sarafina, his first wife.
His polygamous marriage attracted significant public attention, and both women vowed to honour his memory and live in peace after his passing.
However, the two soon fell out. Carolyne alleged she was chased out of her matrimonial home.
Additionally, Carolyne claimed that Sarafina blocked her access to her late husband’s royalties, leading her to initiate a legal battle.
