Renowned mixmaster Pierra Makena has opened up about a time when fans fueled rumours that DJ Mo was her baby daddy.

Pierra Makena addresses baby daddy claims
Pierra has a daughter, Ricca Pokot, and although she has never publicly said who her baby daddy is, netizens have always linked her to flashy politician, Steve Mbogo.
In an interview on TV 47, Pierra revealed how anxious she was when people claimed her daughter was Mo's.
She admitted that Size 8, who is married to Mo, is her friend and that she feared that the things people were saying would start affecting her.
"I looked at the kid and I was like ooh ooh DJ Mo, where are you? I even thought the same. I thought the kid and Mo looked alike. To be honest. Let me tell you, if by any chance Mo and I had ever been involved, I would have said it was is baby. Mo and I are good friends, so when all that was happening, we were just laughing," she said.
Pierra added that her daughter has started asking her tough questions, including how she got pregnant with her.

Pierra's daughter lands TV job
The 44-year-old mum was excited after her daughter landed a major co-hosting role on Akili TV’s Saturday Morning Show.
The 9-year-old revealed that despite her new job, she was still committed to her education and excelling at it.

In 2024, Pierra took treating kids to a new level after she surprised her daughter with an inflatable pool on her birthday.
The little girl was in awe as she looked at the gift with her mouth wide open before hugging and thanking her mother.
According to her, she had wanted the inflatable pool, and Pierra getting her the gift was her dream come true.

Why Ricca wants siblings
Elsewhere, Pierra was put on the spot by her daughter, who asked her to get more kids so she could have a sibling.
The little girl not only disclosed her mum's crush but also shared that her loving father gave her money.
She revealed that her father gave her KSh 50,000 without her mum's knowledge, but said that it was in the bank.
Pierra laughed as she sat next to her daughter while noting that the siblings' conversation could be discussed later.
