How did Kiengei mark Mother's Day?
Taking to social media, the popular preacher poured his heart out in a touching tribute to his late mum, Grace Waithira Kamau, remembering her love, values and the lasting impact she left on his life.
“Today marks eleven years, since this beautiful rose was plucked from God's Garden of Beautiful Roses. Mama, I have not failed you. You taught me about waking up very early and sometimes sleeping very late, mama, it worked. You taught me about compassion and loving all people, mama, it has also worked," Kiengei wrote.

The preacher reflected on the core lessons his mother instilled in him, including the importance of trusting in God.
He went on to say:
“Mama, you left a gentleman in this world. Continue sleeping in God's grace until that day. I love you. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers in heaven.”
Kiengei had previously opened up about the pain of losing his mother to cancer, revealing that despite having the financial means at the time, he could not save her life, a regret that continues to weigh on him.
His sister also succumbed to cancer.

How did Kiengei mourn his father?
In 2022, Kiengei shared a heartfelt post online following the loss of his father, just two days before Christmas.
From his posts and videos, it was clear that his father, who was in his 80s, had been struggling with health issues.
The family made every effort to seek treatment, with friends and relatives offering their unwavering support during this challenging time.
