Manyuru demonstrates anointing in church
Elsewhere, the man of God once stunned netizens after a video emerged showing his church members falling during a prayer session.
In the video, Manyuru could be heard calling people to the altar before he started praying and his members falling one by one.
When he swung the handkerchief in his hand, they all fell on their back, with some toppling on each other.
Some netizens wondered if the members of his church were acting, while others tried to make sense of his spiritual powers.
Manyuru laments persecution from politicians
In a different report, the tough-talking preacher called out the government for mistreating the church despite the support they showed the current administration.
The Pentecostal Voice of Kenya (PVK) raised concerns over the proposed Religious Organisations Bill of 2024, citing threats to freedom of worship.
Manyuru highlighted Clause 34, which criminalises preaching and converting new followers with penalties of up to KSh 10 million.
He expressed regret that politicians who previously opposed regulating the church are now supporting this bill.
The man of God asked the government not to control the rights to worship, saying it would have dire effects on people.
