Will Daddy Owen run for office?

Appearing on Buzz Central's podcast, the musician disclosed his plans to be in government after the next general elections.

According to the artiste, he will follow in the footsteps of his brother Rufftone, who is part of the ruling party, but will not be behind the scenes.

He also noted that there is a notion that leaders must always be elected through the ballot, but that is not the only way.

He said it could be through the ballot or nomination, but in the end, it must happen.

"2027 I'm in, position wise, you see there's a notion or misconseption that leadership is only through ballot. There's so many ways you can get into leadership, so 2027 were jua tu niko ndani, niko serikali," he said.

The philanthropist also disclosed that he has been very well connected with the government and very strategic with his brand, and so very keen followers will know where he is eyeing.

"If you're keen enough, you'll notice I'm very well connected in government. you'll notice I'm very strategic with my brand and what I do, with also how my impact is felt in society," he said.

Owen said he believes his stand will always be the same, saying he has been fighting for the Disability Act to be amended and passed.

He vowed to continue fighting for the rights of the physically challenged if he came to power.

"I believe I'm a leader on my own and I believe in leadership you need to take that mantle and be at the policy level where you can push for change to happen," he said.

Daddy Owen speaks on marriage and divorce

As reported by TUKO.co.ke, Daddy Owen opened up on his previous marriage and what mistakes he made while going into it.

In the same interview, the Saluti hitmaker noted that he thought marriage was all about love, but his idea was totally wrong.

He advised men to avoid marrying for love and focus on the purpose, and if the lady aligns with it.

Owen also said he learnt that the notion that men expect women not to change after marriage is a total lie.

He noted that many factors come into play after the marriage is official, and could be the environment or even a milestone that changes a woman.
