Renowned musician Nadia Mukami has disclosed that she and her partner, Arrow Bwoy, were forced to cancel their wedding plans after finding out they were expecting another child.

Nadia Mukami speaks about cancelled wedding plans
Nadia came out to show off her baby bump, leaving her fans and fellow celebrities congratulating her.
During a radio interview, Nadia revealed that her dad asked that they postpone things because a wedding while pregnant can be a bad omen.

"We had planned almost everything, but now we had to cancel it. My father, who was the recipient of the dowry, was okay with it. But later on, the parents saw that it was not a good thing. They said we let the baby come, grow a bit, before we go back to the plans. Somewhere in 2026," she said.
Nadia said that they had initially started off the dowry process, where she also gave out things to Nadia's family as per the culture.
She added that her father advised them to repeat the whole process and asked them to patiently wait.

When Nadia said she's single
The musician once sparked mixed reactions after stating that she was single after Arrow said they were married.
In a radio interview, Nadia revealed that her dowry was yet to be paid, which was why she was calling herself a single woman.
Her sentiments sparked an uproar, with some saying that she was targeting Arrow while women supported her.
This was months after she claimed that they had broken up before working things out and getting back together.
Was Arrow Nadia's type
The Radio Love crooner revealed that when she met Arrow, he was not her type and that he did so many things to get her attention.
Arrow had opened up about how he and Nadia can go for days without speaking to each other, yet they were living under the same roof.
However, the Kai Wangu hitmaker also revealed that she started dating Arrow while still in a relationship with someone else.
