YY Comedian Discloses All Proceeds from Show to Be Deposited into His Bank Account

Former Churchill show comedian YY was excited after his much-anticipated show turned out to be exactly how he had imagined it.

The show took place at the Kenya International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday, May 24, and was well attended by his fans and fellow celebrities.

During the show, he left everyone stunned by his announcement that all proceeds from the show would be deposited into his bank account.

"All proceeds of this show go directly into my bank account," he announced, amid cheers from fans and fellow creatives.

YY has a good relationship with his mum, and he is a good influence on the young creatives on how they should maintain their relationships with their parents.

Recently, he introduced his mother to the comedy industry, and the duo has been doing entertaining skits, much to their fans' excitement.

Some fans expected him to announce that part of the proceeds would go to his mum's account because the two teamed up in rallying support for the show.

Comedian YY builds house for his mum

As we previously reported, the comedian joined the list of young men and women doing great things for their parents.

In July 2021, he unveiled the beautiful house that he had been constructing for his mother.

YY posted the photo of his mother alongside that of the house on Facebook with the caption "Nakupenda mama yangu," Kiswahili for "I love you mum."

Is YY dating?

YY was in a relationship with Marya Okoth for three years but broke up in September 2024. The two served couple goals for days and made it to the top list of celebrity couples in the Showbiz industry.

In January, the comedian announced breakup with Noela barely four months after meeting. The two continued creating content separately, and it is unclear if YY is dating or not.

In April, Mulamwah made a triumphant debut in stand-up comedy with his show Let Me Explain at the Kenya National Theatre, delivering a magical night.
