How many children does Avril have?
Before she started dating Blessing, Avril was engaged to South African businessman, Leslie Mugadza, but they broke up.
In 2015, Avril revealed they were to tie the knot in 2016, but unfortunately, they parted ways.
In a previous media interview in 2016, while speaking about why they broke up, she said:
"I was engaged, but that ended. We were together for four years, and when my dad died, we grew apart. I felt some disconnect. I needed some time apart. Sort of a break. The break never ended, I enjoyed it so much."
The multi-talented songstress is a mother to a cute son and has never shown off his face.
Avril and her now ex J Blessing, started dating in 2017, and in 2018 welcomed their adorable son.
The Chokoza hitmaker, whose music ruled the airwaves in the mid-2000s, shared photos with her child at the Nairobi Museum of Illusion.
"It’s just an illusion 🎶🎵🎶. Such a fun space. With the main ❤️," she captioned.
A section of her fans wondered why she has never shown off her son's face, and responding to one, Avril, who is a protective mother, said she was protecting her child because he is still underage.
"It's just being respectful to a human being under 18 who doesn't have a choice or know whether they want to be exposed online or not," she said.

Are Avril and J Blessing still together?
The popular music director recently married his long-term partner, singer Bridget Blue, on April 4.
Bahati shared a photo of him, Blessing, Mr Seed and Willy Paul sitting on a white bench, revealing they had escorted one of their friends to pay dowry. Fans later found out the friend paying dowry was J Blessing.
In 2023, Avril took to social media to accuse Blessing of physically assaulting her. The mother of one shared photos showing bruises, but later deleted them.
Addressing domestic violence claims, Blessing admitted that they had an altercation but had resolved their issues.
Apart from Avril, Blessing has been involved with other top women in the industry, including radio presenter Mwende Macharia, singers Laika and Chantal. The producer has children with four women, but unfortunately lost one, he sired with Chantal.
