In a trending video, he wept while confessing his struggles with anger issues.

Pastor Ng'ang'a wondered how a pepper could turn into a sweet thing.

He then admitted that he had tried transforming himself into a soft man, but it wasn't possible.

He urged people to understand him and forgive him whenever he wrongs them, citing his advanced age.

"Can a pepper change itself? Because I have failed to change myself. I have tried to change myself completely, and it has failed. I wanted to be a sugarcane, to be sweet. I have tried, but to no avail. I have tried hard. I have even tried to walk slowly. But even if I make mistakes, you don't forgive me because I have become old. No matter what I do, you don't just forgive me," he said, while wiping off tears.

After the confession, he prayed in the emotional clip.

"My Father. Yes Jehovah! Yes. I might not feel it right now because I am feeling the grace of God," he said while weeping and using a handkerchief to wipe off his tears.

Man slapped by Pastor Ng'ang'a demands compensation

In a related incident, Pastor Ng’ang’a slapped a man during a church service for dozing off.

Following a backlash, the preacher appeared to make peace with the man, inviting him back to church and describing the slap as a “holy one.”

The man, identified as Willy Mwangi, initially accepted the explanation and even joked about being slapped again to set an example.

However, the situation shifted when Mwangi revealed that the slap negatively affected his life, particularly his livelihood as a coffee and melon hawker in Dandora.

He claimed the incident made it difficult to work peacefully, with people mocking him and accusing him of being bribed by the preacher to stay silent.

Mwangi is now demanding accountability and compensation from Apostle Ng’ang’a for the incident.
