What did Chief Godlove say about Kenyans?
Chief Godlove, a forex trader who flaunts his wealth on social media, has drawn the ire of Kenyans after throwing shade at them.
In a media interview, Godlove said all Kenyans are poor.
"You cannot compare Kenyans with us. All Kenyans are poor," he said.
Godlove then called Kenyans rubbish, saying they are not on par with Tanzanians.
"Their lives are troublesome. Every Tanzanian cannot miss having TSh 10,000 (KSh 479) or go a couple of days without eating. Kenyans are hungry. Youths are jobless and only make money through crime."
Godlove added that Tanzania has proven to be richer than Kenya.
"They are comparing stupid things. The young people whom they perceive to be rich, I can buy them and make them care for my dogs."
He used insulting language against Kenyans, leading to a flurry of comments. Interestingly, many Tanzanians disagreed with his views.

What did Kenyan Gen Z tell Tanzanians?
In other news, Kenyan Gen Zs, known for leading the June 2024 protests, sparked online debate after addressing Tanzanian youths in a viral TikTok video.

The group humorously mocked Tanzanian Gen Zs for staying quiet amid political challenges, comparing their activism to their neighbours’ silence. With playful jabs and exaggerated bravado, they claimed Kenya was leading Africa’s youth movement and was ready to “step in” where others hadn’t.
Their performance, part satire and part social commentary, drew mixed reactions. While some praised the Kenyan youths for their boldness and civic engagement, others, particularly from Tanzania, felt the remarks were disrespectful and unnecessary.
