Why Kenyans want Samidoh to quit police job
In a different report, information emerged indicating that the mugithi singer has been transferred to a bandit-stricken region.
This saw Kenyans advise the musician to ditch the service life and focus on his career as an artiste, even as he plans to get into politics.
It has been alleged that he broke the police Service Standing Orders (SSO) by leading revellers in chanting anti-President William Ruto's slogans.
IG speaks on Samidoh's transfer
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that the Police Inspector General, Douglas Kanja, denied that Samidoh's transfer was a punishment.
Kanja shut down claims that his transfer was political and noted that it could have been the usual police transfers.
The IG, who tried to digress from the question, noted that Samidoh, like any other officer, can be transferred to a different post.
