Eric shared the encounter on social media, revealing how James broke down, recounting the agonising moments after his grandson’s death.

“The police came, and I told them to handcuff me and cuff the baby too, because I was asking, ‘How could they find a vehicle to take the baby to the mortuary, but when he was still alive, there was no car to help him?’” James tearfully explained.

Eric also shared touching photos of the baby, whose life was tragically cut short, igniting an outpouring of sympathy from social media users.

He further met with the boy’s mother, James’s daughter, who revealed that the child was only 11 months old and was named James Muiruri after his grandfather.

“She named her son after her father, which is why the pain is so deep for him. This man is the head of the family, and they are all in agony. While we cannot bring the boy back, we can help ease the family’s suffering. Please send whatever support you can,” Eric pleaded, sharing a contact number (0725910162) for those wishing to assist.
