Why was Cop Shakur arrested?

On Saturday, March 22, Cop Shakur was arrested in Naivasha after authorities recovered a toy gun from him.

The police detained him for further investigation to determine whether the toy gun could be classified as a firearm.

A court ordered that Shakur be held for 24 hours while detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) conducted their examination.
