Gospel singer, Muigai wa Njoroge, has clapped back at a fan who reminded him of his first love, Gladys Njeri.

How many wives does Muigai wa Njoroge have?

The controversial singer is married to two wives, Njeri and Queen Stacey and has seven children with them.

In early 2024, Njeri, in a tell-it-all interview with Kameme FM, the mother of four, narrated how Muigai's decision to marry a second time affected her.

Njeri revealed that they were no longer together, although she didn't disclose if they had officially divorced.

The Woman of Courage Foundation founder narrated how she sank into depression and would stay in bars till morning, drinking.

Njeri said she was bitter and used to cry daily after Muigai dumped her at 28 with three kids.

Does Muigai wa Njoroge love his 1st wife, Njeri?

Last weekend, the polygamous gospel singer attended the Ngemi Festival in Naivasha, Nakuru county, accompanied by his second wife, Stacey.

Muigai shared photos donning khaki matching shorts and t-shirt, with white sneakers, posing next to Stacey, who was wearing a colourful short dress and white sneakers.

The two lovebirds were all smiles as they posed for photos at the event's venue.

Commenting on the photos, a fan schooled Muigai, bashing him for neglecting his first wife, who helped him create an empire, and always spending more time with his second partner.

"Ulisahau kwenye ulitoka na bibi wa kwanza Njeri haki kila siku una floss na huyu (You've forgotten where you came from, with your first wife, Njeri, now you just floss with this one)," the fan said.

Another fan commented on Stacey's looks, claiming she wasn't beautiful, advising Muigai to date a young woman.

"Huyu Stacey ata ni mzee sasa, heri angetafta kasly queen ka miaka 25 (Stacey is old now. You could have gotten a 25-year-old slay queen)," the fan said.

The singer savagely responded to the fans, and he said:

When did Muigai wa Njoroge and Njeri meet

Previously, Muigai revealed he met Njeri in 2000 near a chang'aa den.

The singer narrated how he was living in a mabati house at that time, disclosing that they moved in after their second meeting.
