The comedian who is currently living in the United States shared a photo of his mum and accompanied it with a touching message.

He acknowledged his late mother as a fighter who battled with different chronic illness till she breathed her last.

"Ooh my sweet mum. My first girlfriend. I relocated to the USA because Kenya shillings couldn't afford your five chronic diseases. Such a strong fighter I believed in. You fought five chronic major diseases like a real warrior (Diabetes, High blood pressure, heart problem, kidney problem and cervical cancer).. Kudos Nyar Uyoma Katweng'a aka Kadogo. You tried your best mum. Sorry I let you down as a son you fully believed in, rest well my sweet mum,"he wrote on his Instagram post.

She said that she is hardly in the office because she is teaching and credited Owago for helping run things smoothly in the office.

Why Owago ran away from the village

In a different report, the comedian once disclosed that he ran away from the village because his father found out he was dating his mum's friend.

He recalled when his mum saw him with the lady and told his dad who reminded him that men die because of land, money and women.

He offered him transport and asked him to leave the village before word spread that he was having an affair with another man's wife.
