On Friday, June 20, Eric Omondi led a nationwide silent protest, urging Kenyans, both locally and abroad, to wear masks in honour of Boniface Kariuki.

Eric later reposted Ruth’s photo, captioning it with a cheeky comment:

“Thank you shemeji,” a Swahili term for in-law, hinting at her past connection to Mulamwah.

However, Ruth was not having any of it.

“Asante baba Kyla, lakini hapo kwa shemeji, no,” she responded, making it clear that any ties to Mulamwah are over and she no longer wants to be associated with him.

Her blunt response came barely hours after a heated social media exchange between her and Mulamwah, which kept netizens glued to their screens.
