Grandpa Records Ex-CEO Refigah Receives 2 International Honours for Transformational Leadership

Former Grandpa Records CEO Yusuf Noah, better known as Refigah Heviweit, has been conferred with two prestigious recognitions.

The businessman bagged an Honorary Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) from London Bridge Business School, LBBS-UK.
This award is meant to acknowledge his outstanding achievements and dedicated service.
At the same time, Refigah was honoured with Distinguished Fellow of the Africa Institute (DFAI) from the Africa Institute of Public Administration (AIPA), Ghana, recognising his expertise and contributions to the field.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the businessman shared his excitement and stated that he is now authorised to use the designation DFAI after his name, solidifying his reputation as a leader in public administration. Congratulations on these well-deserved honours.

He revealed that the first award was presented by professor Mahesh Pillai, vice president, London Bridge Business School and the second one was issued by Ben Nwankwo.

He expressed his excitement about the achievements and thanked God.
"2025 has been my year. It is a win after a win. This would not be possible without God. I'm so proud of myself, and my vision is to continue changing lives. The two international awards will open big doors for me," he said.
Refiga wins major African award
Over the weekend, Refigah achieved one of his most prestigious milestones, being recognised as one of 36 exceptional leaders in Africa with the Paul Kagame Transformational Leadership Medal of Honour.
He received the award at the 10th Edition of the Africa Institute of Public Administration (AIPA) in Kigali, Rwanda.
This accolade honours individuals who have made a significant impact on the continent through transformational leadership and service.
Refigah’s recognition particularly highlights his contribution to advancing Africa’s creative economy.

Kenyan captains bag Silver World Award
In other news, Kenya’s Victor Radido was honoured with the prestigious Silver World Award in the United States.
The recognition celebrates his exceptional service and leadership in global youth development.
Radido, along with his colleague Anthony Gitonga, received the award on Thursday, May 15, at the Silver Buffalo Awards Dinner held during Scouting America’s National Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
The Silver World Award is a highly esteemed accolade presented by Scouting America to individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the international Scouting movement.
