Mulamwah Claims Ruth K Asked Him Not to Attend Grandmother's Burial

Kenyan comedian Mulamwah has responded to the reason why he attended Ruth K's grandmother's burial despite their split.

Mulamwah claimed that when he and his ex split up, he was trying to save face on social media, since they had a brand to protect.

Why did Mulamwah attend burial at Ruth's home?

He revealed that Ruth was his village mate and her family lives metres away from his home.

When he introduced her to social media, Mulamwah propped her up like a Kalenjin woman who hails from Eldoret.

He admitted that he fell in love with her, and at the time, he was not at her level, but when he became a comedian, he knew he stood a chance.

"When you are building a brand, you make up a perception, so we propped her up as a Kalenjin woman who hails from Eldoret," he said.

Mulamwah recalled how his ex asked him not to attend her grandmother's burial, but he wanted to.

"Breakup is not a big problem, people break up, but what happens after is what matters. That respect needs to be there. Everything that has been happening, I have tried to cover up. She had her grandmother's burial and she told me not to go," he said.

During his mother's burial, he revealed that Ruth K's family supported him and he wanted to return the favour.

He revealed that Ruth was irked by his presence, and when one of her relatives recorded him at the event, it fuelled her spite even more.

"I told her that during my mum's death, your whole family supported me. I won't even come to speak with you. I am not coming there because of you," he added.
