Ann wrote a touching message amid a bizarre trend of youths sending her symbolic M-Pesa deposits to make morgue bookings.
The humour, while unsettling, reflects a deeper truth among young Kenyans that they have been abandoned by the system, and protests are becoming increasingly deadly.
Ann stated that the eulogies posted on her wall showed the hopelessness among the youths and wondered whether the generation ‘died a long time ago.’
"Looking at my page with paused eulogies and attempted morgue deposits ahead of today's protests this is not just any other protest this is a show of hopelessness and a generation pushed to the edge with nothing to lose🥺 a space where even death doesn't scare us...does it mean we died a long time ago on the inside💔 that's where we at," she said.

"t's just simple..create employment, restore dignity and hope, give us a reason to believe in our mother land, give us a future because at this point we are sunk too deep. God help us," she added.
Her message has sparked emotional reactions online, resonating deeply with many who share her concerns.
