Why are Kenyans protesting?
Kenyans are on the streets to mark the first anniversary of Gen Zs who were killed during the 2024 anti-Finance Bill demonstrations.
Dozens of young people were shot by the police during the heated anti-government protests.
Some were shot as they tried to access Parliament, sending MPs who were caught inside running for their safety.
However, some are also demanding justice for slain teacher Albert Ojwang, who died while in a police cell.
