What did Diana Marua say about June 25 protests?

Bahati and his wife, Diana, have always been criticised for being neutral and never using their platforms to speak against anything that touches the government.

In 2024, many questioned why they never showed up for the demonstration, forcing Diana to release a video crying in a hospital, saying she was sick.

However, Diana shared a photo of the Kenyan flag and empathised with the families who lost loved ones to police brutality.

"Our hearts go out to the families we lost on a day like this last year. May God give you strength that surpasses your understanding. As we remember them on this special memorial, please keep safe and be your brother's keeper. Dear fellow countrymen and women, this dark cloud above us shall pass. It shall be well," she said.
