Many took to social media to mourn the beloved realtor and influencer, describing her as a trailblazer in the real estate industry.
What killed Mary Diana?
The celebrated realtor's family announced her death in a touching statement, sharing details of what transpired.
The family disclosed that Mary Diana passed away at her house after a short illness, corroborating earlier reports that she died in her sleep.
"It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Diana (Mdee), founder and CEO of Modern Homes. Mary passed away on June 28, at her residence after a short illness. As a visionary entrepreneur and dear friend to many, Mary made a lasting impact in the real estate industry and in the lives of those she served and inspired. Plans for her memorial and burial are currently underway. We appreciate your continued prayers, support, and respect for the family's privacy during this time. May her soul rest in peace," read the statement.
When and where will Mary Diana be buried?
A close source to the realtor's family told TUKO.co.ke there will be a memorial mass on July 9 at the Consolata Shrine in Westlands.
The source added that the body will then leave for Kakamega county on July 10, followed by a burial on July 12.

"She slept and never woke up. A postmortem will be done to check if she had any underlying conditions. Also, the burial and memorial dates are tentative; they might be changed," the source revealed.

The award-winning realtor flew to Dubai on June 17 for a week to celebrate her birthday
Mary shared photos and videos having a time of her life in Dubai, sharing how happy she was and excited for her new age.
In some of the photos, Mary posed in front of the Wings of Mexico sculpture. Sharing the photos, she accompanied them with a caption talking about soaring high.
In other posts, she shared videos enjoying a boat cruise at the Dubai Marina, noting that she was enjoying the views as she had dinner.
