Ojwang's memorial mass was held at Ridgeways Baptist Church.

The family was seen wailing before the mass as they viewed the late blogger's body.

They then proceeded to the mass, where Nevnina was seen holding her son, the young Albert Junior.

She was seated next to her mother-in-law and some family members.

What did Albert Ojwang's family spokesperson say?

The family spokesperson, Kenneth Ouma, asked the police to share what happened to Ojwang.

He compared Ojwang's case to that of the late MP Ong'ondo Were, who was assassinated.

Auma questioned whether the justice system worked for only a select few.

"What really happened to Albert? The police should come out clearly. Right now, the matter is in court. Just the other day, it has hardly been a month between the death of Ong'ondo Were and Ojwang. Maybe the courts need to do more. Maybe the justice systems are for the select few. Maybe Ojwang was among the bloggers that needed to be assassinated, and they succeeded but the eye of God is never closed... thank you for all who have come to mourn with us," he said.

Auma also thanked X influencer Hanifa and Eric Omondi for helping the family raise funds.

He advised them to find a way to work together in the future.

The spokesperson also apologised if they had wronged anyone while mourning their son.

"Sometimes, a mourning person can embarrass you. So I apologise to anyone we might have embarrassed. We pray and hope that you bear with us. I wish that what happened to this boy did not happen to him. He was picked from the father's hand and he was butchered. I am praying to God that this may not happen to anyone else," she added.
