Will Larry Madowo vie for presidency?
While Madowo accepted the compliment with grace, he wasted no time in shutting down the suggestion:
"Immediately, no!"
He did not stop there. In a follow-up in the comment section, Madowo gave more context to his response, taking a subtle jab at Kenya’s current political climate.
“Mnichague halafu kidogo kidogo Madowo Must Go?” he wrote, a cheeky jab at the all-too-familiar pattern where once-beloved leaders like William Ruto, have become targets of public frustration.
The calls for Madowo to consider joining politics come in the wake of his standout coverage of Kenya’s Gen Z-led protest anniversary.

Madowo’s presence was felt not only through his coverage but also in how he defended unarmed civilians against police brutality, a move that resonated deeply with Kenyans online.
